Dust Off the Cobwebs — It's Time for Override!
Get your season started at one of the first competitions in the state! Join us at Caston for an exciting day of robotics and a chance to see how your robot performs early in the season.
This is a Blended VEX V5 competition, and we'll also be hosting a Blended VEX IQ competition in the same gym at the same time! If your organization has both V5 and IQ teams, bring them all and make a day of it!
Location
Caston is located between Rochester and Logansport, Indiana, on State Road 25, approximately 3 miles south of Fulton on the Cass/Fulton County line.
Please plan ahead for meals. There are no restaurants immediately near the school; Rochester and Logansport are both approximately 12 miles away. The town of Fulton has a mini-mart/gas station and Dollar General.
Food & Concessions
A concession stand will be available throughout the competition, but lunch options will be limited. Please see the Image Gallery for the concession stand menu.
This year, we are also offering pizza by preorder for $15. Pizza will ONLY be available by preorder, so teams wishing to order pizza for lunch must complete the form in advance.
We are working on additional lunch options and will share that information with registered coaches once plans are finalized.

Halloween Fun!
Since the Cobweb Classic is just before Halloween, coaches and teams are encouraged to come in costume!
Have some fun with it—individual costumes, matching team costumes, or a full-team theme are all welcome.
An award will be presented to the team with the best costume!
Costumes should still allow team members to safely compete, work on robots, and move throughout the venue.

Emergency/Bad-Weather Policy
Emergency/Bad Weather Policy Inclement Weather Policy We are not planning to have bad weather on competition day. Unfortunately, Indiana weather was not consulted when we made the schedule and has been known to do whatever it wants! Our goal will always be to hold the competition on the scheduled date whenever it is safe to do so. If morning travel conditions are poor, we may institute a two-hour delay to give road crews, the fog, and Mother Nature a little extra time to get themselves together. We realize this may mean a later start and a later end to the day, but we'd much rather have a long day of robotics than no robotics at all! If conditions make it unsafe or impossible to hold the tournament as scheduled, we will make every reasonable effort to reschedule the competition for another date before canceling the event entirely. If the tournament ultimately cannot be held due to inclement weather and a replacement date is not possible, registration fees will be refunded, minus $5.00 for administrative fees and postage. Please watch for communication from the event organizers if questionable weather is in the forecast. Until then, we'll be hoping Indiana saves the snow, ice, freezing rain, thunderstorms, fog, 60-degree temperature swings, and whatever else it has planned for another day!
