The Cambrian College VEX V5 Override Competition will take place in Sudbury, Ontario on Friday, January 15th and Saturday, January 16th!
As Cambrian College prepares for its fourth annual VEX Competition, our team is committed to delivering an engaging, high-energy experience that participants, mentors, and spectators won’t forget. Throughout the event, teams will showcase their innovation, teamwork, and problem-solving skills in a dynamic robotics competition environment. Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with our valued sponsors and learn more about exciting pathways and careers in STEM fields.

Please note that Judge Interviews will take place on Friday, January 15th, starting at 4:00 pm. We will also open up a Practice Field and start the Skills matches starting at 4:30 pm on Friday.
By moving the Judge Interviews to Friday evening, we can get started earlier on Saturday morning for the main Qualification matches and continuation of the Skills competitions. Please review the agenda and ensure that you arrive in Sudbury on time for judging. A judging schedule will be provided closer to the competition date.
A free lunch will be provided to participants and coaches during the competition on Saturday, January 16th. We will also have additional snacks and drinks available for purchase during the day.
Some of the awards at the event will be accompanied by additional prizes provided by our generous sponsors, including a $2,000 scholarship to Cambrian College. We will continue to update this page with additional updates and awards information.

Judging Format
Judging Format Judging Format: Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In-Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in person at the event, subject to change. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. The submission deadline is Monday, January 11, 2027 at 12:00 p.m.
