General Info

General Info

The Niagara Battlefields Weekday League is hosted by A.N. Myer during the regular school day and open to all V5RC teams. Being in an active, controlled entry school, spectating is limited to Coaches/Mentors. Volunteers are welcome to help with the event, but require both a VSC (due to the school environment) and V5RC certifications where they apply. Any parents/drivers are welcome to have a day enjoying the wonders of Niagara Falls and it's attractions.

Ranking sessions (Qualifying) are held on the following dates:

  • Tuesday October 20
  • Thursday November 19
  • Tuesday December 15

Each date any team can have up to 3 Skills runs of Driver and 3 runs of Autonamous Skills.

Skills/Alliance selection/Judging/Eliminations/Finals will be held on:

  • Tuesday Feb 9

This league will have the usual awards and qualifications for an event of it's size.

Judging Format

Judging Format Please review the following Judging Format options and keep the ones that apply to your event, and delete the others that do not apply. • Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date.

Emergency/Bad-Weather Policy

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy School closures will be posted on DSBN.org as of 6AM. The event will run as long as the school is open. If the school is closed for weather an alternate date will be arranged TBD.
