Volunteer

Volunteer We are running six VEX events at the National Robotarium in Edinburgh this season, starting with the Tartan Tinker Session scrimmages on 3 and 5 November, and we are looking for volunteers. IQ and V5, roughly 20 to 24 teams a time, judged awards at all of them after the scrimmages. Referees, inspectors, judges, queuers and general help all needed. No experience necessary for most roles and we will brief and feed you. One thing worth knowing: for the IQ events you can train as a head referee from age 16, and for V5 from age 20. If that appeals, say so on the form and we will get you on the certification course. Happy to answer anything: blair.wilson@hw.ac.uk.

Emergency/Bad-Weather Policy

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy Scotland's weather is tempremental, however we do not forsee any reason for our events to be cancelled. If by chance there is a heat wave or heavy downpour of snow, we will communicate with all teams the morning of the event.
