Welcome to the 4th Annual Santa Fe Christian Fall VEX Robotics High School League.
We are excited to have you join us this season! This season we will host three ranking sessions, and one alliance selection and finals. Each team will be expected to participate in a minimum of 2 of the 3 ranking sessions, a required minimum of 66% of the ranking matches during the scheduled league. The registration window closes (Sept 25).
The goal of this league is to provide teams with a chance to experience competitions early in the season and have some time between Qualifying Sessions to work on their robot and make improvements based on what they learn. It will provide an early competition season outlet for teams to learn how their robot designs perform and how the Over Ride Game rules are interpretted and applied during competitions. It is also meant to give teams a chance to meet and get to know each other early in the season through competition and over lunch. Due to the early nature of this event, we do not plan to have judging. However; we are attempting to have a skills field and allow teams the optional choice of running skills after the qualification matches are finished for the day.
We hope to have a mixture of experienced and new teams. It is my hope that an experienced team will take them under their wings to mentor them during their rookie season. Let me know if you are interested in either providing that support, or if you need it!
