Welcome to the robotics competition hosted by in2robotics! We extend a warm welcome to all participating teams and wish you the best of luck in this exciting event. Get ready to showcase your robotics skills, innovation, and teamwork as you compete alongside other talented teams. We have put together important information to ensure your participation goes smoothly and you have an enjoyable experience. Please take note of the following details:

  1. Event Location: The robotics competition will take place at Our Lady of Lourdes Primary School. The venue provides an excellent setting for teams to showcase their robotics skills and compete in a supportive and engaging environment.

  2. Arrival and Departure Times: We kindly request all teams to plan for arrival before 8 AM on the event day. The competition is expected to run until approximately 2 PM. Please note that these times may be subject to change closer to the event, depending on the number of teams registered. We will keep all participants informed of any schedule adjustments.

  3. Food Sales: Food sales will be available at the event for participants and spectators. However, if any team members have specific dietary requirements, we encourage them to pack their own lunches to ensure they have suitable options. It is essential to prioritize the well-being and enjoyment of all attendees throughout the day.

  4. Further Assistance: Our team is dedicated to providing a memorable and well-organized competition experience. If you have any general inquiries or require assistance regarding the event's operations, please don't hesitate to reach out to our team members, who will be present at the venue to provide guidance and support.

  5. Please note only teams with engineering note books will be interviewed.

Judging Format

Judging Format Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. All notebooks must be digitally submitted at least 1 week prior to the event. Only teams that provide an Engineering Notebook will be interviewed.

Volunteer

Volunteer We invite teams to contribute to the success of the robotics competition by providing volunteers to assist with various roles throughout the event. Your participation as volunteers will greatly contribute to the smooth operation and fair execution of the competition. We appreciate your support in advance! Volunteer Roles: • Refereeing: Volunteers will assist in refereeing matches, ensuring fair play, and maintaining game rules adherence. • Queuing: Volunteers will help manage team queuing and assist in coordinating match schedules. • Technical Inspection: Volunteers will work alongside a trained leader to conduct technical inspections, ensuring that robots meet the required specifications and safety standards. • Judging: Volunteers will join trained judges in evaluating team performance, innovation, and design during the competition. Please note that all volunteer roles will have experienced leaders who will guide and support them throughout their duties. Requirements: For the safety and security of all participants, all adults interested in volunteering must possess a valid Working with Children Check (WWCC) in accordance with our child protection policy. This check ensures the protection and welfare of all participating students. Volunteer Submission: If your team is willing to provide volunteers for the event, please submit the names of the volunteers to Daniel Ricardo at enquires@qrca.com.au Daniel will coordinate the volunteer assignments and provide further instructions. We greatly appreciate your team's support and willingness to contribute to the success of the robotics competition. Your volunteers will play a crucial role in ensuring a fair, organized, and enjoyable experience for all participants. Thank you for your dedication and assistance!
