Welcome to the VEX IQ Robotics Competition™ (Middle School Division)

Level Up™ Tournament @ The Royal Adelaide Show

Registration opens 11th August 2026 - 3:30PM ADELAIDE Time

This is a perfomance based competition (non-judged).
Supervising teachers and competitors (students) receive complimentary entry into the Show Grounds with your team entry
Please check the age requirements for each division your team competes in:

Competition Program (and Level) Student Eligibility Team Size VEX IQ (Elementary School) 12 years old or younger 2+ VEX IQ (Middle School) 15 years old or younger 2+

A student's age for eligibility is their age on June 1 of the year the season ends. For example, for this 2026–2027 season, eligibility is based on the student's age on June 1, 2027.
If any team member is in the older "bracket" that whole team must play in that division. For example a team may be comprised of Year 6 and Year 8 students however would play in the Middle School division.

For schools please be aware of the transport and travel tab that will appear on this page for important drop off and pick up information.

The Design and Technology Teachers Association of SA is hosting this event and all invoices will be sent to schools via [email protected]. This may occur one week post event due to administration processes.
This VEX Robotics Competition is proudly supported by the Global Robotics & Science Foundation - the officially authorized nonprofit partner for VEX Robotics, championing student-centered, schools-first STEM competition. Please ensure you are referencing the library documentation for key award and judging criteria.
