Pedare welcomes you to our annual VEX IQ Middle School competition.
Since 2018 we've been hosting VEX Competitions and can't wait to see what the teams bring this year for Level Up!
This competition follows the Global Robotics & Science Foundation guidelines for judging and awards. For 2026 please ensure you follow new links to get the latest rubrics by the GRSF.

Judging Format
Judging Format • Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. Please view this website for the latest information on submitting an engineering notebook. • A link must be available for viewing for judges no later than the week before competition. • Books can be worked on up until the competition BUT the link must not change • Coaches: Please ensure you link to a persistent online folder (such as Google Drive) that stores the engineering notebook for the team OR the link provided gives direct access to the teams book GRSF Notebook Information Page

Volunteer Sign up to help! (All working with children clearances provided for free!) We are always seeking judges to help at the competition! No experience neccessary and a great opportunity to connect with the future workforce! See the short video above to hear about the joy of judging a VEX Competition. This video is from 2018 at the very first VEX competition held in South Australia. Judges now view the engineering notebooks online.
