General Information
Presented by East Jin International Co. Ltd., authorized distributor of VEX Robotics and certified Event Partner in South Korea.
The VEX IQ Robotics Competition Signature Event is coming to Korea!
On January 7–8, 2027, Middle School teams will compete at OSCO in Cheongju, South Korea, in the 2026–2027 VEX IQ Robotics Competition Level Up™ game.
Team check-in opens on January 6, 2027. Early check-in is optional, and teams may also check in on the morning of January 7.
Why Join?
East Jin International, as the authorized distributor of VEX Robotics and certified Event Partner in South Korea, has been supporting robotics education and organizing VEX Robotics competitions throughout South Korea. Our goal is to provide students with opportunities to develop their engineering, coding, problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork skills through high-quality competition experiences.
This Signature Event will bring together Korean and international teams, providing students with an opportunity to showcase their skills, exchange ideas, and compete with teams from different countries.
Teams will be able to test their robots under official competition conditions, refine their strategies, learn from other teams, and gain valuable international competition experience on their journey toward the VEX Robotics World Championship.
Registration and Payment Information
When registering for the event on events.vex.com, please select “Pay Later.”
Teams that successfully register for the event will receive a separate registration form through an events.vex.com notification. This form will be used to collect the information required to issue an invoice, and payment instructions will be included.
Payment must be completed within two weeks of the registration date. Teams that fail to meet this deadline will be moved to the waitlist.
We understand that institutional payment procedures may require additional time. Please contact us if you need assistance.
Consent Forms
Teams must submit consent forms for all attendees, including coaches, students, parents, and other accompanying participants, before the registration deadline.
Failure to submit the required consent forms by the deadline will result in the team being moved to the waitlist. Registration fees will not be refunded.
The consent forms cover important matters including safety, liability, image rights, and participant eligibility. As parental consent is required for students, please ensure that all necessary forms are completed and submitted in advance.
Teams that do not submit the required consent forms will not be permitted to participate in the event.
Lunch
Lunch is not included in the registration fee. Detailed information regarding lunch arrangements and available options will be announced at a later date.

대회 소개
본 Signature Event에는 한국팀과 해외팀이 함께 참가합니다. 참가팀은 공식 대회 환경에서 로봇의 성능과 경기 전략을 점검하고, 여러 국가의 팀들과 경쟁하며 기술과 아이디어를 교류할 수 있습니다.
이를 통해 공학, 코딩, 문제 해결 및 협업 역량을 발전시키고, VEX Robotics World Championship을 대비한 국제대회 경험을 쌓을 수 있습니다.
참가 등록 및 결제
events.vex.com에서 대회 등록 시 “Pay Later”를 선택해 주시기 바랍니다.
등록을 완료한 팀에는 인보이스 발행을 위한 별도의 등록 양식과 결제 방법이 안내됩니다. 등록비는 대회 등록일로부터 2주 이내에 납부해야 하며, 기한 내 결제가 완료되지 않은 팀은 대기 명단으로 이동됩니다.
구매주문서(PO)를 이용하는 경우에도 등록일로부터 2주 이내에 처리 절차가 시작되어야 합니다. 기관 내부 결제 절차로 인해 추가 시간이 필요한 경우 주최 측에 문의해 주시기 바랍니다.
동의서
코치, 학생, 학부모 및 기타 동행자를 포함한 모든 참석자는 등록 마감일 전까지 필수 동의서를 제출해야 합니다.
동의서에는 안전, 법적 책임, 초상권 및 참가 자격에 관한 내용이 포함됩니다. 기한 내에 동의서를 제출하지 않은 팀은 대기 명단으로 이동되며 대회에 참가할 수 없습니다. 이 경우 납부한 등록비는 환불되지 않습니다.
중식

Judging Format Judging Format / 심사 운영 방식 Digital Engineering Notebook Submission / In-Person Team Interview Engineering Notebooks must be submitted digitally through the designated link in the team contact’s “My Account” panel on events.vex.com . • Submission deadline: December 28, 2026, at 23:59 KST (UTC+9) • Recommended file format: PDF • Recommended platform: Google Drive Teams wishing to use a platform other than Google Drive must contact the Event Partner before submitting their notebook. Submissions made through another platform without prior notice may be considered invalid. Late submissions will not be accepted. Teams withdrawing from the event should refer to the Refund Policy. After the submission deadline, the Judge Advisor will download the submitted Engineering Notebooks for evaluation. Teams may continue updating their notebooks; however, only the version downloaded for judging will be evaluated. Before submitting, please ensure that the shared link: • Is accessible without a password or access request • Allows the file to be downloaded • Opens correctly in an incognito or private browser window Teams may participate in the event and attend a team interview without submitting an Engineering Notebook. Emergency/Bad Weather Policy Emergency / Bad Weather Policy 비상 상황 및 악천후 대응 방침 The safety of all participants, staff, volunteers, and visitors is the highest priority of the Event Partner. In the event of severe weather, natural disasters, transportation disruptions, government safety advisories, venue restrictions, or other circumstances beyond the Event Partner’s control, the event schedule may be delayed, modified, suspended, postponed, or canceled. Any important updates will be communicated through events.vex.com, the registered team contact’s email address, and other official event communication channels. Team contacts are responsible for monitoring these channels before and during the event. All participants must follow the instructions of the Event Partner, venue staff, and local authorities. If an emergency occurs at the venue, please remain calm and proceed to the designated evacuation or assembly area as directed. If the event is postponed or canceled due to severe weather, a natural disaster, or other force majeure circumstances, registration fees will not be refunded in accordance with the Refund Policy. 대회 운영기관은 참가 학생, 코치, 관계자, 자원봉사자 및 방문객의 안전을 최우선으로 합니다. 악천후, 자연재해, 교통 장애, 정부의 안전 지침, 대회장 이용 제한 또는 대회 운영기관이 통제할 수 없는 기타 상황이 발생하는 경우, 대회 일정이 지연·변경·중단·연기 또는 취소될 수 있습니다. 주요 변경 사항은 events.vex.com, 등록된 팀 담당자의 이메일 및 기타 공식 대회 안내 채널을 통해 공지됩니다. 각 팀 담당자는 대회 전과 대회 기간 중 해당 안내 채널을 수시로 확인해 주시기 바랍니다. 모든 참가자는 대회 운영기관, 대회장 관계자 및 관계 당국의 안전 지침을 따라야 합니다. 대회장에서 비상 상황이 발생한 경우 침착하게 안내에 따라 지정된 대피 장소 또는 집결지로 이동해 주시기 바랍니다. 악천후, 자연재해 또는 기타 불가항력적인 사유로 대회가 연기되거나 취소되는 경우, 참가비는 환불 정책에 따라 환불되지 않습니다.
