Competition Information:

The competition will feature 3 fields and 48 teams, and 32 teams will advance to the elimination bracket.. Each team will compete in at least 6 qualification matches, and the finalized schedule for judging, skills, and matches can be found in the agenda tab. Judging will take place in the pits, and stop during lunch. Teams must bring printed copies of their engineering notebook to be considered for judged awards.

Lunch and Consessions:

Full concessions will be available during the event. Lunch specials will be announced.

Registration Information:

All participating teams must be registered with VEX Robotics and the Robot Events website and have their official team number for this event. All registration fees must be paid in full no later than two weeks before the event (Oct. 3rd, 2026). Failure to comply may result in your team(s) being removed from the event. Registration fees must be paid before teams are allowed to compete, and if there is any problems or concerns please reach out to [email protected].

Parking:

There is open parking around Mount Michael on the day of the event, and large vehicle parking can be accommodated, please see travel info. Out-of-region teams are welcome to sign up for our event and travel support for parking or hotels could potentialy be given if asked. Livestream and Internet:

This event will be livestreamed on YouTube and wifi will be available inside Mount Michael. Please see the webcast tab for more details.

Travel Info

Date: 17-Oct-2026 Mount Michael Benedictine High School 22520 Mount Michael Road Omaha, Nebraska 68022 United States Travel Info Parking is available in all non-reserved spots in the parking lot. If necessary, overflow parking will be to the grass south of the Sokol building. Some volunteers will park here to help establish an initial parking line.

Judging Format

Judging Format In-Person Judging - The Team Interviews and Engineering Notebooks will be judged in-person the day of the event. Teams should bring a physical copy of their notebook to submit to the judges. Notebooks should be submitted at the check in table when walking in. Teams will be judged in the pit area before and during the qualification matches. Interviews will be enforced to 10 minutes in length to assure all teams the ability to be judged. To be eligible for the Innovate Award teams must fill out the Innovate Award Submission Information Form and include it in the notebook.

Emergency/Bad-Weather Policy

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy Mount Michael is well equiped to remain open and we as the event could move starting times back/around in the case of weather. The event partner will make the decision to cancel by the night before if there are only teams from within the region competing. The event partner will make the decision to cancel by the morning before if any teams reach out that they will be making a hotel reservation to attend our event. The Robot Events page will note if the event is on or not in the case of weather.
