General Info
Welcome to the Kowloon Central VEX V5 (MS/HS) Tournament! Jointly presented by the Hong Kong Technology Education Association (HKTEA) and T.W.G.Hs. Chang Ming Thien College, with generous support from the CEATE AWARDEE WORKSHOP(STEM) and the Hong Kong Joint School Technology Education Association. This tournament brings together Middle School and High School student teams from across Hong Kong to compete, collaborate, and showcase their technical creativity using the VEX V5 robotics platform.
This event serves as an engaging platform for students to put their STEM knowledge into practice. Throughout the day, teams will enter their custom-designed and custom-built VEX V5 robots into dynamic, high-energy match play. Beyond game strategy and execution on the field, the competition emphasizes mechanical engineering, sensor integration, driver accuracy, and autonomous programming skills. Participating in this event enables students to build critical real-world competencies, including logical thinking, complex problem-solving, real-time collaboration, and sportsmanship.
Teams will go through qualification rounds, strategic alliance selections, and elimination finals while competing for match honors and judged awards. Whether you are a seasoned robotics team or taking on the VEX V5 challenge for the first time this season, this event offers an inspiring, supportive, and action-packed environment for all participants. We invite all mentors, students, and spectators to join us at T.W.G.Hs. Chang Ming Thien College for an extraordinary day celebrating youth innovation and engineering!
Consent Form
Teams must submit consent forms for all attendees, including but not limited to coaches, students, and parents, before the Registration Deadline. Failure to do so will result in the team being moved to the waitlist, and no refund of the registration fee will be provided. These forms cover important topics such as safety, liability, image rights, and eligibility. As parental consent is required, please ensure all forms are submitted in advance. Teams that do not submit the required forms will not be allowed to participate.

歡迎參加由香港科技教育學會 (HKTEA) 主辦、東華三院張明添中學 協辦，STEM教育卓師工作室 及 香港聯校科技教育協會 支持之「九龍中區 VEX V5 (MS/HS) 機器人比賽 」！本賽事旨在匯聚全港優秀的初中及高中學界代表隊伍，於 VEX V5 機器人競技舞台上一展身手、切磋交流。
是次比賽為學生提供了一個將 STEM 知識融會貫通並實踐於真實情境的理想平台。參賽隊伍需親手設計、組裝及編程專屬的 VEX V5 機器人，在充滿挑戰的賽場上進行即時對決。賽事除了考驗機器人的機械結構設計、感應器應用及自動程式控制外，更重視隊員之間的戰略部署、臨場應變及團隊協作能力。學生能藉此累積寶貴的工程實踐經驗，並培養解決複雜問題的思維與團隊精神。
全日賽程涵蓋資格賽、隊伍聯賽選擇以及戰況激烈的淘汰決賽。各隊除了爭奪賽事獎項外，亦會角逐各項評審大獎。無論是經驗豐富的創客強隊，還是首次參賽的新晉隊伍，本賽事都將為大家帶來極具啟發性且熱血沸騰的競技體驗。我們誠邀各校師生及家長親臨東華三院張明添中學，一同見證青年工程師們的創新突破與精彩表現！
同意書
隊伍必須在報名截止日期前，為所有出席人士（包括但不限於教練、學生及家長）提交同意書。未能按時提交者，隊伍將被移至候補名單，且報名費用將不予退還。這些表格涵蓋安全、責任、肖像權及參賽資格等重要事項。由於需要家長同意，請提前確保所有表格已提交。未提交所需表格的隊伍將不得參加賽事。

Judging Format
Judging Format Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions / In Person Team Interviews: Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. A submission deadline that may be scheduled ahead of the event date. Note: All Digital Engineering Notebook need to be submitted on or before 13 November,2026 數位工程筆記本提交／現場團隊面試：團隊面試將於活動現場進行。工程筆記本須透過團隊聯絡人「我的帳戶」面板中的連結，以數位方式提交供評審。提交截止日期可能會安排在活動日期之前。 注意：所有數位工程筆記本均須於 2026 年 11 月 13 日或之前提交
