Welcome to the Excalibur Robotics Challenege 2026 "Override".

Foothill High School and the Knight Time Bots, Team 6627, are exctied to be hosting and look forward to seeing your teams compete.

Please review all the information on the event page, paying special attention the the event schedule.

All engineering design notebooks must be turned in digitally, no later than Oct. 31st, 2026. In person notebooks will not be accepted.

Awards at the Excalibur will be designed and crafted by Foothiil roboitcs students and the tournament champions along with the excellence award winner will recieve a specially designed championship banner.

The Knight Time Robotics Booster Club will be hosting a snack bar that always provides exceptional goodies.

Lunch is on your own with many fastfood locations within a 5 to 10 minute drive.

Thank you for attending the event. All proceeds from the tournnament go directly to supporting robotics at Foothill High School

Agenda

The Excalibur Roboitcs Challenge 2026 "Override" will use the following agenda on the day of the event:

6:30 AM Doors open for volunteers.

7:00 AM Doors open for all teams. Please check in with the table in the foyer before entering the event center.

7:15 AM Inspections open.

8:30 AM Inspections closes.

8:45 AM Driver team meeting in the bleachers next to the boys restroom. The pits are to be vacacted and all team members must be in the bleachers.

9:15 AM Qualifications begin and Skills field opens.

12:15 PM Lunch Break (The skills filed will be closed during lunch).

1:00 PM Qulifications and skills resume.

3:00 PM Qualifications end and the skills field is closed.

3:15 PM Alliance Selection begins.

3:30 PM Elimination rounds begin with select awards given between rounds.

4:45 PM Tournament ends. Championship and Excellence Awards presented.

5:00 PM Teams exit the venue and clean up begins.

Note: The event will run ahead of schedule whenever possible. Please pay attention throughout the day how the tournament is progressing.

The lunch break will not change and start at 12:15 regardless of tournament pace.

Judging Format

Judging Format Team Interview Judging - The Interviews will be judged in-person the day of the event. Digital Engineering Notebook Submissions: Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link found within the "My Account" panel of the team contact. The submission deadline for the event is October 31, 2026 by 12:00 Midnight.
