Hello everyone,
Welcome to the Canadian Academy VEX V5 Robotics Competition 2026!
Last season, Canadian Academy hosted the first VEX Robotics scrimmage in the Kansai region, bringing together teams for an exciting day of competition and collaboration.
This season, we are excited to take the next step and host the first official VEX V5 Robotics Competition™ tournament at Canadian Academy.
This tournament is an official Japan National Robotics Championship (NRC) Qualifying Tournament. Eligible teams may earn qualification to the National Robotics Championship (NRC).
Located in Kobe, Canadian Academy is an international school with a long history of providing an internationally focused education. We are very excited to see the VEX Robotics community continue to grow in the Kansai region and to bring teams together again for a full tournament experience.
We sincerely look forward to welcoming teams from Japan and overseas to Canadian Academy and seeing you on the competition field!
Tournament Registration Fee: JPY 26,400 per team

みなさんこんにちは
Canadian Academy VEX V5 Robotics Competition 2026 へようこそ！
昨シーズン、Canadian Academyでは関西地域で初となるVEX Roboticsのスクリメージを開催し、チームの皆さんに競技と交流の機会を提供しました。
そして今シーズンはいよいよ次のステップとして、Canadian Academyで初となる公式VEX V5 Robotics Competition™ トーナメントを開催します。
この競技会は、ナショナルチャンピオンシップ（NRC）の公式出場権選考競技会です。条件を満たしたチームは、NRCへの出場資格を獲得することができます。
神戸にあるCanadian Academyは、長い歴史を持つインターナショナルスクールです。関西地域でもVEX Roboticsのコミュニティがさらに広がり、今回は本格的なトーナメントとして再び多くのチームが集まることを楽しみにしています。
日本各地、そして海外からCanadian Academyに集まるチームの皆さんと、競技フィールドでお会いできることを心より楽しみにしています！

Judging Format
Judging Format （英文の下に和文続く） The Engineering Notebook will be evaluated only on competition day. Engineering notebooks will be submitted digitally for evaluation via a link in the "My Account" panel of the team contact on events.vex.com . The submission deadline is Friday, December 4, 2026, 18:00 Japan Standard Time. After the submission deadline, the Judge Advisor will download the submitted Digital Engineering Notebooks for evaluation. Teams may continue to update their notebooks after the deadline; however, only the version downloaded by the Judge Advisor will be used for judging. Teams can participate in this event without an Engineering Notebook and still be interviewed, but the Team will not earn any top judged awards. For the most current award descriptions and judging criteria, please check Late submissions or failure to submit the Engineering Notebook digitally will not be entertained. Please refer to the Refund Policy on Team withdrawal cases. Team interviews will be conducted in-person at the event. Each Team can bring their own physical engineering notebook as a presentation tool during the interview. ☆ﾟ+.･ﾟ+｡★｡+ﾟ･.+ﾟ☆ﾟ+.･ﾟ+｡☆｡+ﾟ･.+ﾟ★ﾟ+.･ﾟ+｡☆｡+ﾟ･.+ﾟ☆ﾟ+.･ﾟ+｡★ エンジニアリングノートブックの審査は、大会当日に実施されます。エンジニアリングノートブックは、 events.vex.com のチーム連絡担当者（Team Contact）の「My Account」からデジタル形式で提出してください。 提出期限は、2026年12月4日（金）18:00（日本標準時）です。 提出期限後、Judge Advisor が提出されたデジタル・エンジニアリングノートブックをダウンロードして審査を行います。なお、提出期限後もシステム上はエンジニアリングノートブックを更新できますが、それらの更新内容は審査には反映されません。 エンジニアリングノートブックを提出しなくても大会への参加およびチームインタビューを受けることはできますが、チームは主要なジャッジアワードを受賞することはできません。最新のアワード説明および審査基準については、https://library.globalrobotics.org/hc/en-us をご確認ください。 提出期限後の提出や、エンジニアリングノートブックをデジタル形式で提出しなかった場合は受け付けられません。チームの参加辞退については、「チーム辞退および返金ポリシー」をご確認ください。 チームインタビューは大会会場で対面にて実施されます。各チームは、インタビュー時の説明資料として紙のエンジニアリングノートブックを持参することができます。
Volunteer
Volunteer - Each team is required to provide at least one volunteer. - Please click here to register as a volunteer. - Volunteers may be coaches, parents, family members, friends, alumni, or other supporters. - As the event approaches, the Event Partner will contact registered volunteers regarding their assigned roles. ☆ﾟ+.･ﾟ+｡★｡+ﾟ･.+ﾟ☆ﾟ+.･ﾟ+｡☆｡+ﾟ･.+ﾟ★ﾟ+.･ﾟ+｡☆｡+ﾟ･.+ﾟ☆ﾟ+.･ﾟ+｡★ - 各チームより最低一人のボランティアを提供していただきます。 - ここ をクリックしていただき、ボランティア申込フォームから申請を行ってください。 - インストラクター以外でも、親御様、親戚やご友人、チームの兄弟でも可能です。 - 大会が近づいてきたら、運営本部より、お願いするボランティアの役目の依頼があります。

Emergency/Bad Weather Policy （英文の下に和文続く） In the event of severe weather, earthquakes, or other circumstances that may disrupt transportation, the event may be canceled. In case of an emergency, the situation will be posted on the homepage.
